Mouse strains archived at the Australian Phenome Bank can be reanimated, to obtain the mouse strain alive, by lodging a request through our website. Reanimation of cryopreserved strains as frozen sperm samples are done by in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with the latest and most efficient techniques. We also provide reanimation of cryopreserved embryos samples.

Cleaning up your mouse strains from previously infected viruses, parasites or bacteria, better know as rederivation process, can also performed by the Australian Phenome Bank.

We can maintain your reanimated strain on site or ship to your chosen facility. We will provide you up to 2 breeding pairs of the requested strain.
